Odd not to see any mention of Gochiusa in the byline considering it did better than everything other than the GuP film LE.

Fantastic to see panzers fill up nearly half of the top 20 list again this week.

Glad to see Strike Witches still in the top 15.

GuP though. Is Sentai not paying attention to it anymore?

I think that Sentai will license and release the movie as soon as it is available, assuming that nobody else takes it from them.
I plan to order it as soon as possible.

I suspect that the Japanese have not made it available yet due to fears of reverse importation.

I do wonder though why there has been no mention of Anzio.
Maybe it is just too short for Sentai to release it by itself.

Guys it's been less than 2 weeks since the Girls Und Panzer Film went on sale for it's home video release. Yes it sold extremely well in theaters and now Blu-Ray in Japan but I don't think it's as popular here state side as it's in Japan.

If Sentai does get it, the fastest they got a title over here was about 12 months from airing. Funimation usually does it in about 15 months. So it will be at least 1 year before it's even released even it it's licensed.

As for the Anzio OVA Senta did after the TV series get the short OVA's and released those as a complete set at a cheaper price point. Who knows how well that sold.

I for one will buy it day of release if someone picks it up, or I'll just import it.

I think the point is that it isn't even licensed yet. No one is expecting it to be released right now, but things are usually announced for US license pretty early on. They don't generally wait until it goes up for pre-order to announce they have the license to something.

It seems "Phantom World' is pretty much guaranteed not to have a 2nd season with those sales figures and not enough to LN adapt from. I wouldn't mind an e-book translation of the LN (obviously, an official translation is preferred).
