Folks, I went to the first show in 2015 and even though I hardly understood the details in the dialogue (which didn't matter too much since I know the story) it was an AMAZING experience ! Other than looking fantastic, the actual music and choreography and the clever ways they visual different jutsu is awesome !
e.g. For their chakra training running up trees, they had trees projected onto the floor, and the chars practising running "up" those, but they also had roof mounted cameras facing down at the set and the video was projected onto a screen, so the audience actually sees the characters running up trees ! 
And - small brag - I got to frikken high-five Naruto and my main man Orochimaru when they did their goodbye runs though the aisles !! PS : Don't forget the inflatable Choji balloon they used and sent through the crowd !
PPS : This production also has English and Chinese subtitles, viewable with special "Subtitle Glasses" they'll be hiring at the performances ! Make a long-overdue trip to Japan and go see this if you can ! |
