I notice the lack of English dubs in Japanese video games these days, but the number of English dubs in anime has gone up. Why is that?
There seems to be a lot of franchises such as Senren Kagura, Sword Art Online, Attack On Titan, etc that where despite the anime being dubbed, the video games are not. Many companies don't seem to even consider partial dubs like Idea Factory has been doing. The number of English dubs in anime seem to trump the number of English dubs in Japanese video games these days. why is that? Why can't there be just as many English dubs in Video games as there are anime these days? |
