Thanks to Pokémon GO's AR, Pokémon has taken one step closer immersing itself in reality. I can only image what it would be like to see a Wailord floating in the sky.

Is there a simple "battle" functionality where I can easily have a Pokemon battle with another player?
Surely now a year and a half after its release they have that option now, right? |

It adds too much time and effort in catching a single Pokémon. I reckon it will die to about 1% of serious players in use because of this. Hats off to Niantic for trying and development but I won't be using it and I doubt many will. It might be a good testing ground for their forthcoming Harry potter game but dedicated Pokémon Go players will drop it as a useless gimic.
