Reminds me of many of earlier CG motion capture anime like Appleseed... Where the hell are all the people? Streets are deserted. Kinda ruins the whole "suspension of disbelief" bit.

Record of Lodoss War was my favorite anime growing up so knowing that more of the author's work is getting an anime makes me happy. I just hope the female characters are better written and don't have almost all of there personalities/focus built around how they feel about the male lead.
