...okay, does this have anything to do with anime? I'm not seeing any "Invasion America" in the Encyclopedia, and Invader Zim definitely isn't anime.

I'm asking if anyone has seen Invasion America. You obviously have not seen it...And I am referring to Invader Zim because they both got cancelled.

No, it wasn't an anime. It was domestically produced by WB for WB.
It aired as a 6-part mini-series during prime time TV, suffered from uber-weak ratings, and barely finished its run. Then dropped to a Saturday noon timeslot and ran there for one or two runs.
It failed because of bad animation (Think of Lost Universe. It's that bad.)
It failed because of the typical teenage "Hey, look, I'm for adults too! I can swear and show blood!" feel to the story.
It failed because the marketting set it up to be the outsider of the block -- Not merely an animated show in amongst other WB shows, but instead the _animated_ show in a set of _real-life_ shows.
But it has no further need for discussion here. It's not anime. Thread's locked.
