Wow, at 84.8$, that's an expensive thing i have ever seen in my life!!! I never played Pokemon Go though, but it looks really amazing!

Feels like downloads can be a deceptive measurement since the same person can download it for as many devices as they own as well buying new phones etc.
A more relavant measure would be number of accounts created but I guess a third party organization is unable to discern that number.

They ran a special promo where you could (possibly) hatch one of the Kanto regionals in special eggs for a limited time. These regionals can only be found in Asia, Australia, North America and Europe, so paying for the chance to possibly hatch one instead of visiting these regions was an incentive. Regional hatch rates were very low, so you’d have to hatch a lot of eggs to get them all.
