Yeah, Giorno is definitely the least interesting character of the bunch. All the character you saw in the first episode wasn't even the manga, so he was even more boring there. It doesn't help that spoiler[the Dio plotpoint literally affects nothing in the plot and was just a way to tie him back to the Joestar bloodline and justify his JoJo-ness. It never gets brought up again].
Bucciarati is the best character though, which is why Part 5 is more like Bucciarati's Bizzare Adventure than anything. |

The heroes' (ludicrous) goal is to save children from street drugs. The villains want to hook children on drugs. That's not basically the same, that's pretty different.
