This is such a good VA for Shinra. His performance in BC has been really amazing and I am super happy he gets to be another one of my fav character.
Also beautiful visuasl. Looking good!

So is he gonna say his lines like a catheter’s being ripped out of him in this role too?

I have read Fire Force so I can confirm that Shinra does not have a tendency to scream like a loon. He’s actually pretty chill for the most part.
Though I hope Gakuto uses a lower pitch for him.

Oh god. I really hope it won't be as insufferable as Asta's...

Hopefully Asta's VA will have better acting with a different director and if not there's always the English dub to watch.

You people... Sure, Gakuto Kajiwara was near-unbearable back when Black Clover started, but I watched the big battle from last week's episode in its Japanese dub and take my word for it, he's actually improved and greatly so.

Did some clean up. Remember folks, people are allowed to have differing opinions other than your own without being insulted for them.

Facts, i can tell these people never watch BC. "Asta's voice" meme is dead after the first few episodes

Coincidentally, there were similar dissatisfied reactions to Maka's voice actress in Soul Eater ten years ago(!*). I think it was her first acting role ever; I guess Ohkubo can't catch a break with his leads.
*I can't believe the Soul Eater anime is ten years old, and the manga even older...
