I'm not pleased with these changes but recognize there's not much that can be done, and they're making the best of a bad situation. Still, my 2020 doujinshi-buying ventures are going to be turned on their head, especially as several of the big events are either moving to Osaka altogether or being split between the two (and I've no intention of going to Osaka). Really looking forward to everything going back to normal after the Olympics! I'm excited to attend but boy is it a headache.

However, I was super excited to get to get a table at Comiket 96 this summer--especially seeing as it's our group's first time tabling AND the space has been reduced. Wasn't expecting to get selected (though I'm pretty sure it's a lottery, still), so I'm stoked we won't have to wait in the boiling sun only to find everything sold out or lines stretching 2 hours long before we even get inside lol.

May and early May at that? Yikes, at least it's better than it's cancellation.

I wonder if the weaker H-doujinshi offerings of C95 are a side effect of these changes, hopefully C96 is better.

Shrug, I thought C95 had a lot of fantastic works. Maybe they just weren't your cup of tea.

...That's the point. That's why Super Comic City has always been held in that slot, to take advantage of the days off (unless I completely misread your reply and it was a defense of why it's being held then?).

Also I'm sure I saw mention of what's to become of Super Comic City in 2020 in that case, but I've forgotten what it was. Is SCC just being cancelled?

Moved to Osaka on May 6th, and on August 22-23 (Tokyo?).
