Every mobile gacha game could be described as "cynical." Good show though. The animation held it back, more than anything else.
Most gacha games shut down after a year or so. Only the big hits survive. It's roughly comparable to the Hollywood film industry, which relied on a few "tentpole" movies to turn huge profits while most films failed to profit at all.
