Kind of surprised there's no confirmation for the rest of the Bronze Saints, if they're even in it.

Yeah, he did. For movies and TV shows. That's why he hasn't died in the Snowpiercer TV show either, which is the latest high-profile project he's been in so far.

He's playing Saori (Sienna?)'s grandfather so he'll probably die right away, as Sean Bean is wont to do

Very likely; also, the "Sienna" and "Alman Kiddo" stuff makes me think they're taking some things from the horrible Netflix CG show, so the "Shun as a woman" thing is not far-fetched. I'll watch out of morbid curiosity, but from the plot alone we already know this movie is gonna be trash. Also produced by Sony, so there's that too.

Apparently the fights are choreographed by the same folks who did Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, so if nothing else, the fights oughta look good.

Maybe it will get an exception by not being purely American. The director is Polish, and one of the producers is China’s AGRF (A Really Good Film Company, which remains to be seen). So it’s an international production rather than a pure Hollywood one.
