That's pretty cool!

I wonder if any of the English VA's might make cameos in the show.

That's amazing, just like what happened in the live-action Ghost in the Shell Japanese dub.
I wonder if this will happen in other languages as well. That reminds me, just a couple of months ago Funimation added Cowboy Bebop to their Latin American service, although they had to redub the series, but the new dub managed to bring back Elsa Covian as Faye, Isabel Martiñon as Ed and Dulce Guerrero as Julia, but Spike wasn't voiced by his original actor, Genaro Vasquez, because he now lives in Canada so instead he was voiced by the actor who replaced him in The Movie, Yamil Atala. Also, Jet's original voice actor, Alfonso Ramirez, passed away a couple of years ago so he was replaced by Ricardo Tejedo. There are also some actors from the old dub with different characters in the new one, for example the actor who voiced Tongpu now voices Toro, and the actress who voiced Katerina now voices VT.
I wonder if Netflix will bring the Latin American Spanish cast back for the dub as well, that would be cool.

Oh, nice! I would actually be interested in seeing that, just for the nostalgia of the VAs. Always loved Cowboy Bebop's Japanese cast!

Taiten Kusunoki is a great replacement for legendary Unsho Ishizuka.

Really wish they announced a new anime project.

Heh, same thing happened with the CG Saint Seiya mess where the Hades cast reprised (with the exception of Shun for obvious reasons), kinda making up for recasting everyone a third time for Legend of Sanctuary.

Shocked

This is gonna be like a competition!

Pulling off a good live action has always been not US' forte (e.g. Death Note, Dragon Ball) but it doesn't mean that they will never be able to produce one in the future. That's why I'm pretty much excited for the Netflix Cowboy Bebop.

Now to read the news that there's going to be a Japanese Live Action of it... What I like about this is definitely the different cinematic touch on Cowboy Bebop which the viewers will definitely notice. I'm excited on what will be their take on this. Will they also follow the anime plot? (e.g. of live action that did not follow the anime/manga plot: Sailor Moon and Death Note)

I doubt it will happen, but it would be cool if some of the main VA's had some sort of extra role or cameo. Just like a single 1 or 2 lines. It would simply be a cool little nod to the fans.

Supposedly Beau Billingslea, Wendee Lee, and Steve Blum have cameos in the "Ask DNA" intro to Knockin' on Heaven's Door. Although I don't know if that has ever been confirmed by the creators (the intro sequence was animated by Hiroyuki Okiura). So I also think it would be cool if they had brief cameos somewhere in the netflix show.

I don't know why anyone would want to watch anything dubbed in live action. I've never seen a live action dub done well.

It's the best possible casting they could've gotten, so that's good.

This is the same one Netflix is producing just being dubbed in Japanese.
