He was also the star of What’s Shenmue, the Japan-only demo version. Ryo is tasked with searching a portion of Dobuita for Yukawa-san. In the process, you play through a couple bits of the actual game, just reskinned or recontextualized to fit the story of the demo. Ryo finds and saves Yukawa from a gangster trying to shake down Yukawa for his copy of Shenmue. Yukawa then wakes up from a nap at his desk, surrounded by Dreamcasts. He looks up to see the Shenmue poster on his wall and resolves to get back to work selling consoles.
