It still makes me so mad how Toei gave the YouTube streams the shoddiest subtitles ever. In a perfect world, they would’ve dubbed it in time for the movie.

I'm pretty sure the final friendly match was not included in the manga but the guys from Toei at least managed to pull it nicely. Mitsui feels like the character who needed development the most which was solved when Inoue organized the First Slam Dunk movie. Sadly, that movie kinda tones down Sakuragi's ending from the original manga as it instead explores more Mitsui's family issues.
