What’s the damage? Any time companies switch ownership major changes happen quickly and not for the best.

Both companies are owned by Kadokawa anyway so it seems like just an internal reshuffling.

I really hope it is just an internal reshuffle. Bookwalker has carried alot of books that other storefronts just won't touch because of one reason or another.

So has J-Novel, so I think we're in good hands.

The announcement from Bookwalker mentions that Bookwalker Global is based in Japan, while M12 Media is based in the US. So I expect this is simply an internal restructure in an effort to forestall anything the Trump administration might do on taxes and tariffs etc.
