I'm amazed at how much the reviewer was able to write about the nothing that was this show. I think I made it 3 episodes in before giving up. No stakes, no tension, an MC with no goals or ambitions and who magically has exactly what he needs. It ends up being a much blander version of Campfire Cooking, which at least had a sense of humor, likeable characters, and was pleasant to look at.

I feel like the thing most people actually appreciated about this anime was having an older protagonist who actually engaged in casual sex.

This is why I originally enjoyed it but it just didn't go anywhere. This was one that wasn't even bad enough to consciously drop - it was just so bland I forgot it existed until this review

I didn't watch this show, but when I saw the key art I thought, those are the ugliest cat girls I ever saw. They are so ugly. And cowardly. The artist didn't bother going full furry so instead decided to stop partway and go uncanny instead. A show with harem cat girls that awful could never be good.

That is.. not that uncommon in older aged anime. At least not uncommon enough to be the only reason to watch.

I watched my fair share of bottomfeeder shows last season, but I could not generate enough interest to finish episode 2, even with the suggestion that Kenichi actually was getting some action. Felt like the series used up all its effort and inspiration in the 2001 homage in the first minute and it was all downhill from there.

Wasn't amazing, nor was it terrible. It's a great time waster, specifically if you just like a "safe slow life" kind of isekai series.

I'm not seeing what was wrong with the catgirls, they were pretty hot.

Definitely was nice to see an MC who wasn't all shy and blushing about that tbh. I thought it was a fun stupid show. Only big disappointment I'm surprised the review didn't mention is the robots/mech in the ED that was never actually in the show...

The show has terrible art across the board.

Welcome back Bamboo, nice to see you reviewing again after so very long, sorry you didn't like this show much. For those who didn't watch, the show tries to make it's magic "online" ordering system believable by having items paid for by exporting in-world objects which are auto-appraised and converted to online cash, so there isn't infinite money. It does just so happen that he keeps finding stuff like gemstones so there hasn't been a cash shortage outside the first day or two.

I rather liked this and thought your grades were fair. I found it generally inoffensive, though it did have some narrative issues (uncomfortable jealousy, especially from Anemone) but the appeal was in watching a nice guy have a nice time in another world without the negatives of some other isekai shows, like enslavement and racism. I think they did the best they could with what must have been a practically non-existent art budget but boy, was the Op animation hard to watch. Action sequences only need key frames anyway, right...Confused

What I found jarring was the blatant inconsistency of the Beast Men being fully accurately anthropomorphized while the Beast Women had human faces on anthropomorphized bodies. Obvious obnoxious reason if you think about it...
