Not sure if this series really deserved a second season. It cant decide whether it wants to tell a story about the hotel and its staff or just be an anthology series. So we have loads of bread crumbs for the main characters dropped in with agonisingly slow story progression while the anthology stories are already getting samey, and finish the first season by dropping four episodes on just one anthology story that feels atoningly slow compared to the earlier single and one double episode anthology stories.

Nice, I was worried that we would end without much information about the two main characters. See you soon, I hope—tareme eyes guy and G.I. girl.

It was a good show. Interesting premise, decent production and execution. Not something I would go out of my way to recommend but its a fun watch.

That is good news. The first season was a bit uneven but I am interested in getting to know a bit more about the hotel staff.

Nice! Hoping to see more developed between the leads. Guessing this was planned to be 2 cours from the start.

So this was probably planned as a split cour.

Happy for fans of the series though!

This is one of the rare cases where I wish an adaptation were faster-paced. I was fine with the done-in-one stories, but the multi-part ones like Another Sky felt overlong and repetitive. And it was this slow pace that made me suspect this show must have been planned to run for more than 13 episodes from the beginning. Still, it would need four cours to cover the whole manga, which is ending with volume 12.
