Kind of an interesting dynamic going from a much lauded film and comparing it to its source material.

Is this edition new? I tried looking it up on Amazon and it said it's not available in America. I'm guessing it's some kind of new British translation or something?

It is indeed a new translation, and I could have sworn I saw it listed on Amazon.com previously, but it seems to have disappeared from there now. (It's certainly on the UK Amazon.) I'll send out a query on Monday.

I sent a query to the publisher and received this reply: "I'm afraid the book doesn't currently have a US publisher, so US buyers would need to purchase the British edition."
Apologies, I did think I saw it listed previously on the US Amazon. Of course, some online retailers may have it, and even some US bookstores might import a copy - I was in Tokyo last week and found a copy in a Shinjuku bookstore.
