Now I can understand why they’ll dub it but theirs a lot of other anime series that are MUCH more deserving to have English dubs like Takopi’s Original Sin, Ruri Rocks, The Summer Hikaru Died, Orb on the movements of the earth, Yamato 2205 and 3199 Donghua stuff that has been released on Crunchyroll lately, etc etc

You said it well, crunchyroll…
This one ain’t CR related at all, and they tend to dub almost everything they get just like hidive does for example. Most of the CR content stays sub only, this upcoming season is specially bad with many great series (as a romcom fan) sub only. |

My apologies. It looks good for an erotic harem anime especially it’s based on a video game. I’m already familiar with oceanveil and it’s a anime streaming service that’s pretty much exclusively release Romance and NSFW stuffs.

So many anime are still without a dub but a hentai gets a dub before any of them. Let that sink in for a moment

Historically, hentai used to get dubs all the time............... for obvious reasons

1. The Nukitashi anime isn't "hentai" 2. Even if it were, why are you saying this as if that's a problem? It's pretty common for hentai to be dubbed regardless. 3. I've let it sink in that one of the best anime from the Summer 2025 season is getting an English Dub, which is pretty cool news overall, and doesn't warrant weird responses like this? |

the Nukitashi anime technically is not "hentai",but the original Visual Novel certainly is.
Wonder if the cast will use aliases |

Gee, it's almost as if "the English anime industry" isn't simply a singular entity (despite how much Crunchyroll/Sony would likely love for it to be), but rather is made up of multiple entities that have their own respective & varied interests, focuses, & priorities. Maybe you should let that sink in for a moment. But, seriously, OceanVeil & Ascendant Animation producing an English dub for Nukitashi has absolutely no relation to Crunchyroll or Sentai not producing dubs for a variety of titles that they are offering, because they are completely different companies that just happen to be a part of the same overall industry. |
