Cool interview. I know the Gungrave anime wasn't nearly as popular as Trigun, but just having finished watching Stampede, I'm curious if the former would ever get a remake, too. Anyway, looking forward to Stargaze. Stampede was surprisingly more serious than I thought it was gonna' be (in a good way). I think it managed to be a lot more lean and serious, while still getting Vash's idealism across.

I wish they had made a full adaptation of the manga instead. It's what the majority of fans wanted.

You know you don’t have to mention that every time anything related to Stampede & Stargazer (or not) comes up?

Think we got your discontent the first time.

I still wish they had incorporated the manga designs more faithfully but I'm glad Nightow-sensei was really happy.

Also the MCU comparisons were on-point the way they adapted things...

I originally had mixed feelings about this adaptation. But reading this interview, I now feel like I should give it a chance.
