Tragic. Too young, and a horrible way to die at that.
Rest In Peace. Condolences to family and friends.

Horrible tragedy. In a magazine that's increasingly filled with series where the characters are poorly traced over CG models, Manchuria Opium Squad's beautifully drawn art really stood out. May Shikako rest in peace.

Oh no, what horrible news! I‘m collecting the french manga volumes of Manchuria and love the art, story and characters. I still have a few volumes to buy until vol. 22 but the idea that any possible continuation, if at all, will be drawn by another artist, saddens me.
R.i.p sensei.
