The ending to Kaguya was flawed to say the least, with one high profile sub-plot ending in a pretty terrible manner. I hope Akasaka takes some of that criticism to heart when making this new film and adjusts what should probably be adjusted.
I also hope he does the same with OnK |

Kind of sucks that the films as a sequel has become a trend but there's money to be made from it. Maybe they will split into episodes for it's eventual release on TV/Streaming.

Hope doing a new movie increases the chances of the special eventually getting dubbed, though we'll see I guess.

I have said this numerous times:
If you are fan of this series read the manga and its spin off We want to Talk about Kaguya. They are now not skipping chapters, but entire arcs, if you don't read the manga you are missing at least 60% of the whole plot. |

Kinda sucks coz I do want some of the arcs to be animated like the New Game arc, Hayasaka arc, Ishigami arc and Kaguya Rescue arc. Okay, the Kaguya Rescue arc can go but I do like all the other arcs especially the Hayasaka arc.

A lot of the rest of the manga wasn't.....great, but I hope the film ends the series properly.
