Considering they already tried to slip AI dubs in there, I would "prefer" they not.

Please don't.

So you’re actually going to promote the shows you have, right?
Right?

i.e. we're just going to license shows to keep them out of competition's hands and let them rot. There's a reason why it's called "The Amazon Vault"

i think i've mentioned this before...there are two different sides i'm on...
technically, if you get the crunchyroll and hidive through the prime video channels and prime video stuff, they are the definitive place to watch anime. you could make that argument. prime video channels does let them get away with that statement...
it also helps that everyone has a prime account...so, y'know there's that...but, it's just like- everyone has a netflix account and that's way better (even if i don't use it).
with that said, i can't help but laugh at this statement. prime video is kinda a wash to use for me. i just don't like it, and um...yeah...what else do i have to say...? i don't like amazon. never really been into general streaming services (netflix excluded) trying to get into the anime ring because they just don't get it...and...i'm glad i can share my opinion on this, because i've been holding it in for a while.
this reminds me of my conflicted feelings on spotify compared to apple music...

I've found a few good quality JDrama series on Prime though its overwhelmed by the numbers of Kdrama and Chinese drama series. The anime series theyve chosen to license (apart from Gundam) are kinda niche and you could see why others haven't picked them up but there isnt currently a lot of content, it seems to be mostly operating as a showcase for Crunchyroll content where Crunchyroll will put entire series or first episodes on Prime for a short time in order to try and sell subscriptions through Prime.

I would be more inclined to watch anime on Prime if they didn’t make me pay 3.00 more a month for zero ads on top of the 200.00 yearly Prime subscription. I KNOW they do not need that money.

The day amazon becomes the go to for anime is the day I stop watching.Between Bezos and Musk it's hard to decide who is the worst human being.

Good luck on that, I mean, I'd say I have more faith on Netflix on that claim, though I would also say that I do think that Amazon has done a better job compared to other streaming services like Disney+ and HBO Max in regards to anime.

And it seems their official dubs in certain languages have problems, I'm not a native English speaker, but I do remember hearing that Prime Video's official English dubs for anime such as Dinner Table Detective, Ninja vs. Gokudo and The Darwin Incident were sent to dubbing studios with very little experience. At least I can say that Amazon's Neutral Spanish dubs have been mostly fine, some of them are pretty good, though it depends on the country and studio responsible, though I won't forgive them for (re)dubbing the Rebuild of Evangelion movies in Argentina, despite the fact that Evangelion was always dubbed in Mexico, though at least Shinji, Rei, Asuka and Mari's dub original VAs managed to reprised their roles remotely, but only them, the rest of the cast was replaced.

I've never considered getting prime, nor will I ever.

I'd rather use other methods to watch anime than get prime video (legally and otherwise), that company has been under boycott due to political reasons and I have zero intentions of breaking it.

If they want my money they are going to need to release their shows on physical media.

Any business in their position would want that. Doesn't mean it'll happen.
