That what always bothered me about Suzaku's ideals that you like mentioned, utterly flawed and prideless. When your country is being occupied and your people being killed, the most natural thing for anyone to feel against such a hostile system is anger and hatred. Suzaku always condemned the "wrong" methods of the black knights and made an enemy out of Toudou who was like a father to him for the sake of his flawed ideals and yet, he turns a blind eye to Clovis when he annihilated the people of Shinjuku just to retrieve CC and Cornelia who killed hundereds just to create a scene similar to Shinjuku to trap Zero.
I don't totally hate Suzaku, but when you try to analyze his actions and reasoning, you'll head will end up exploding for how everything he does in the name of justice doesn't make any sense. I wonder if people who possess his contradicting way of thinking exist in this world.

I thought Taniguchi was very neutral in his portrayal of both sides of the conflict. Remember when the Japanese held the Britannians at the hotel hostages and killed some of them to provoke Britannia into action? It was like him saying that there can exist extremists on the side that's right that do foolish things that harm their cause before the world that's watching.

... ok when you reply above the box you type in is a whole bunch of buttons. next time hit the spoiler button. its the one that says spoiler and is on the far right.
| Quote: | | Finaly If you look at the last ep you will see the wall that girl kept marking with a cross -one of them is just a line wounder why ?? i think this might be important though if might be because she is no longer around why stop half way? |
It means that she stopped doing it. eather she was forced to stop (Emperor whould have to use geass here or else she would just try to come back) or lulu's geass wore off.
or... that just means nothing and it was just a stunt to make us watch the next ep (like we need convinceing)
have fun watching all

Episode 5 = 1.8% rating which shows last weeks 1.4% was no fluke.

Episode 5 was good, staying light harted and fun while advancing the story.
The preview for episode 6 (shows that the show will be having a large scale battle between the Knight of rounds and the order of black knights. Also, the extended privew shows that Nunnally will be gitting more air time along with (possiply) the emperor.
By the way, this should come as no supprise
Lancelot+Flying+Hadron cannon > Guren with second-hand parts. you can even see it in the preview
And speaking of Knightmares is any one else suspicting that lulu will be taking (read as stealing while claiming it is his right) the Ganymede once it is completed/improved by nina in a similar maner to the Gawain?

Just seen the raw for episode 6. More action, less story, so there might be a better rating then last episode. (GSD had better ratings this way.)
-Rolo saves the day for lulu. Couldnt have imagend this a week ago.
-Is it just me, or doesnt the empress of the CF resemble Mao?
-The emperor seems to call V.V. his brother no idea what that means.
-So the fight begins and the advantage is for Britania. Many pepole die and among them is the guy from season on 1 who used to pilot a Gekka( forgat his name), and The son of Dalton from the thrid episode.
-The knights of Rounds arrive, and Suzaku launches with the Lancelot.....um......Conquister, which is basicly the Lancelot with a hydron canon add-on. Yeah, so he beats the Gurren and Karen falls to her impending doom, until back up arrives.
-The Gurren then get ''updated'' (think thunderbirds meet power ranger sort of compenation) and gives a pose similar to the Destiny from GSD (at least that what it seems like) and destroies Guilford's Vincent (but he survives )
-So the Gurren, which was origanily a close-range type knightmare, becomes an all-range-over-powered--type (close-range, mid-range, long-range, wide-range, [insert]-range, ect.) and scares the Rounds
-lulu fails to get nunally, and he flies to the hands of the strike free....err.....Gurren
-Next episode The Thrown away Mask
-Plot for next episode [insert plot from Spider-Man 2 here]
Overall good episode, I liked it (despite some semilarties to Gundam)

Saw the raw and all i can say is WOW. That was a great fight though i had a feeling leluch wouldn't get nunnaly back this is kinda similar to what happend at narita everything when well but the plan failed because of suzakus interferance. though it looked like nunnaly figured out lelouch is zero right there are the end. also i was right rolo geassed him from behind. the mid fall upgrade was great. The question now becomes what next ? I think they did realy well on

No, it wasnt Suzaku who interfered, Lelouch had all the time he needed. It was his fear that stoped him from coming closer (he couldn't justifie what he did to Euphi) and that made him not sure what to do or say to her
By the way, did any one notice that (most of) the Knightmares of the main charecters seem to share the same eye color of thier pilots? Mabey it's a gimmic add in the show.
Oh, and before I forget Lloyd is BACK

Rolo saves the day for Lelouch, upgrades for both the Lancelot and Gurren in this episode and Nunally wants to do a Euphie (Special Administrative Region) which stuns Lelouch and gives time for Suzaku to rescue her. That ending sequence with Lelouch was awkward though.. the upgrades where nice in this episode but the action was still very lacking compared to say.. Episode 10 or 11 (can't remember which) Suzaku Vs Kallen which was dope. Anyway thankfully Kallen has a knightmare on par with the Britainnian ones though as shown by Suzaku move at the end I don't think they went all out just yet.
Looks like next episode Kallen confronts Lelouch over Nunally after Princess Nunally is installed as the governess of Area 11, 30 second preview off the website has an interesting scene between them two..
