A first title for the distributor too....

Hopefully it goes well for them, although Digimon never really appealed to me. And I'm assuming they'd use the broadcast on Toon Disney for this, as I'm having a hard time looking at a series like Digimon to be "adult" or "deep".

LordRedhand: I take it you never saw much of Season 3, then?

As for this, meh. Bring out Seasons 1-3 on DVD, and then you'll definitely have my purchase.

Admittedly when Digimon was "new" I was in highschool so if I had it on it was more of noise than actually, actively watching it. But still it struck me as kiddie and fun more than adult and serious, as my memory is getting fuzzy on this but I think I saw the first and second "teams" of "chosen ones".

Count me in for this one. I'll pick it up in hope that they bring Season 1 and 3 out in this format as well.

Plus, Digimon's such a guilty pleasure for me...

I was the biggest Digimon fan when I was a kid. I still am a rather big fan. But I never cared at all for Digimon Savers.

However, if there's a Japanese language track on these I'll absolutely buy them. (I doubt this'll be the case, though, but then, if it's Toei that liscenced it...) Maybe I'll learn to like the series if I watch a bit further into it.

But on the other hand, I almost want to buy them to support an R1 release of the first 3 seasons. I don't believe in buying things I don't need and especially not things I don't want or need, but if it meant a release of the first 3 seasons... (I don't really care about Japanese audio with these, though. Saban's writers had a great sense of humor and it's too bad Frontier and Savers were totally unfunny.)

Agreed. Actually I'd buy the first four seasons, because I enjoyed them all a lot. I've been waiting for years for complete series sets of these shows.

Good grief, Toei/whoever, get on the freaking ball.

Season three was my favorite too, but I'd love to see at least the first 3 seasons released on DVD. And what about the movies?

Although I still love digimon, I'm really not all that interested in Savers.

now only if they release the first 3 seasons on DVD I would so buy it. I haven't watched Data Squad yet but I heard it was bad

edit: I saw season 4 it was alright but it didn't really appeal to me all that much like the other ones did
