This might be of interest if it hasn’t already been posted to ANN yet, I just need to make sure that my translation is okay.

@10:25 PM by Universus

According to Slow Train, Katsuhiro Otomo’s film called Steam Boy is scheduled to come out in Fall 2003, and has a cost of 2 billion yen, it has more than 1,850 tomas (?) and 180,000 cells. When it premiers this production will have finished 8 years of planning, it had already been started around 1995 which had (story) changes and problems with funding and backing.

The story occurs in the Post-Industrial Revolution in the 19th century in England, where a young inventor named Ray receives from his grandfather from the United States a mysterious metallic sphere, the kind that is a new energy form that can have the power of an entire nation, and that has to be kept away from evil villains. Does this not sound familiar to all of you?

A question to those here who speak fluent Spanish, what is a “Toma” in application to animation? The definitions that I looked up in both the dictionary that comes with Office XP, and my paperback dictionary, are listed as words relating to taking something or a plug or a point?

Hey man.. I meant to post here earlier, your translation is pretty good. As far as the question about "toma", the dictionary is right, thats the definition I know. Is there a certain meaning as far as films? I dont know, Spanish is one of those languages that has god knows how many variations. It may just be a term from where the author was from.
