I know when the first Volumes of Pluto started arriving translated in the US, the series was still running in Japan. But I'm checking Pluto's wiki, and it says that it concluded in April, 2009 in the details box, but doesn't mention if it has completed in the main text body.
So, I'm just curious now, has Pluto concluded, and therefore there should only be 8 total volumes released translated? I feel kind of sad that its already half over, if that is the case. Such an amazing series, especially the most recent Volume 4. |

As far as I know - Yes, Pluto is over and Urasawa is now working on his new manga Billy Bat.

Manga can be comleted then re-serialized or just put on hiatus before the next volume comes out.

Volume 5 just came out recently, Volume 6 is due out on November 17th, Volume 7 is due out January 19th of next year, and the last volume is due out on March 16th. I had no idea this manga series was so short, until I looked this up today. Isn't Urasawa's mangas known for being very long (but good)? Shame this is half over already. I wonder how this will end then? http://www.viz.com/products/products.php?product_id=8914 |
