I've tried to submit information about where to buy new releases (cheapest price possible), but most of the time it didn't work. There were error reports such as "couldn't find the price" or "couldn't find the name of the product", even though I made sure it was the correct product and on the correct website (amazon f.e.).
I'm no expert, so I don't know if this can be fixed. I think the problem with the names is that the name on the releases-website and on f.e. amazon have to be exactly identical?

[Releases section:
Buy XYZ for the cheapest price possible:
We don't know the URL for this product.
Can you submit it?]

When I submit information to the Releases section for prices of various anime titles, I copy the URL from the website where the information was found (for example, AnimeNation) and paste it in the provided section. When I click submit, it usually pops up in a matter of seconds. Try that and see if it works.

I did exactly the same thing, but it didn't work every time! I copied the url into the field and then, after some time, the error messages came...

In order to only get correct websites I think they (ANN) check the website you submit and if the name or anything else isn't exactly identical, then it doesn't work. Otherwise I couldn't explain why it sometimes worked.

Barnes & Nobles currently does not work for any releases. This needs to be fixed.

The release compare system was created when we only had DVDs. Some stores list details like price & title differently for manga, and we need to revamp the system entirely to be able to deal with those stores.

In other words, for now, price compare for numerous stores does nto work for manga releases and it is nto a quick fix.

Speaking of releases, I made a Vampire Hunter D thread about prices for the DVD a while back, but I didn't know how to input them.

Apparently, no one had enough time to do this either, so I'll repost the links I found for it:

Anime Nation

Amazon

Anime Castle

Barnes and Noble

DVD Empire

Well thanks for the answer. Unfortunately what I wanted to submit wasn't a manga, it was an anime dvd. And it wasn't Barnes&Nobles. I can't remember what it was right now, but I could find out if it was of any use for you.
I don't mean to complain at all, I just think it's a useful tool and I wanted to support it! Smile
