I'm her big fan, and yes I know about that scandal (altough I personally don't see any problem with it).
As far as I know, her only current roles are Asuka for NGE reboot movies and Kazuha Toyama in Detective Conan titles. I was wondering if it's possible for us to have any influence on anime industry (petitions, suggestions, etc.) to bring her back for some other roles even if they aren't main ones. IMO, her voice is really unique and beautiful, it just seem such a waste not to hear it more. |

Our wallets are the only thing that influences the japanese anime industry and unless you're importing that's only through our countries' own anime industries. Also note that there's a lot of politics and role-hiding in the japanese VA market. So one reason she might not be getting much work could be things we'll never know, like if she's bad to work with or if she does H-game voices under a different name.

Your post title and body appear to be at odds?
Her blog backs up what Wikipedia says about her living in Melbourne (her July 6 entry says Melbourne is cold, her July 7 says something about returning to Japan for a bit), which I imagine is somewhat limiting when it comes to participating in recording sessions in Japan. |
