It's a shame that anime never really gets the time in the spotlight that it deserves when it comes to theatrical releases. I mean any views they get tend to be in arthouse theatres from enthusiasts who have been following it for a while, especially since I never see any advertising for them. I want just once for a company to back it, promote the hell out of it, for it to be in most major theaters, and to do well enough to show there is a real market for it. I've heard a ton of great things about Kaguya, and I will probably pick it up day 1 on bluray, but I still wish I could see more anime in a theater.

Oh, man...Only $552,080?
It's a shame that Princess Kaguya is going to put Ghibli in the red after being polished with a massive budget.
