I sorely wish this mangaka would get more exposure, I read a few chapters of one of the more recent spin-offs from this manga (Mononoke Soushi) a few months back and it's pretty fantastic. His art style is damn amazing too.
Hirano wasn't kidding when he called him a national treasure
