In the forums and comments after FUNimation announced they're "widescreen" DBZ release next year, someone mentioned something about this Samurai X (the OVAs) collection, but what were they saying? It had to do with aspect ratios, of course, but what was it? What aspect ratio are the OVAs in and what aspect ratio are they in in this collection?

The Director's Cut versions of the OVA were cropped for a fake widescreen. That was what was done for the single releases as well. However, the complete collection will include the original ones in their original fullscreen aspect ratio as well.
