I've been following Monogatari for years, so I'm more than used to the limited animation and all that, and I loved Owari just as much as the next hardcore fan, but I did feel like it was even more limited than normal, which was a bit of a bummer for me, as a massive animation fan. At least we've got those Kizu movies, I suppose.
