I remember loving zoids as child so i'll give this a shot, but why on earth are they riding them?

This. I'm still looking forward to it but I'd be more hyped if they didn't do that.

I'm also kind of at odds with the characters riding Zoids like horses, hopefully this will be a slightly more darker series or at least on par with older series.
