So will this movie be about making an anime movie? Surprised

I'd imagine the logistics of making that one is filled with potentially comedy gold!

I was hoping for it to be in theaters this year to coincide with the fifth anniversary of the series. Still, more Shirobako is good.

Did they not announce the second season with the film? Or am I confusing something?

They're making a movie? Nice. A new season would be even better but I guess they just don't have the numbers for it.

If I take the visual in n literal figurative sense (yeah), then this movie might be about Musashino animations facing bankruptcy. I suspect that Shirobako will tackle some real life animation industry problems, and lately animation studios folding is one of those problems. No matter what issues Shirobako decides to tackle, I'm sure it will be an entertaining, and hopefully informative, story!
