Why didn’t they ever finish the Gundam 0079 manga. I bought 9 volumes of that series, and he never finished the damn thing!

Twelve volumes were released in Japan, but for some reason Viz only brought over the first nine. (I still have them sitting on a shelf, right next to Mixx's Mobile Suit Gundam: Blue Destiny release.)

There are several reasons for this. It's a niche market, so sales just aren't where publishers want them to be in order to recoup costs (licensing, translation, publishing, etc), plus translators often times have no freaking clue how to translate the material which leads to awkward and stilted material in comparison to their anime counterparts.
