I really enjoyed the 86 LN, and am looking forward to the anime. Thanks to @frog_kun for calling our attention to 86 a few years back.

I pulled volume one out of my bag to start reading it and for some reason stopped and decided to check ANN before starting. This is the first article I see so now I'm getting excited to dig in.

Oh, sweet. I haven’t gotten around to the second volume but the first volume was really good and I was thinking it would make a great anime. Really happy to hear this.

Totally expected and well-deserved. If it's just one season, I'd expect that the adaptation will cover volumes 1-3, as that's an intact story.

Call me crazy, given all the fancy Mecha this franchise has, I think Production IG, who has made a name based on their excellence of sci-fi genre, might be a good fit for the animation studio.

And sunrise too, hey, I can dream Wink

I once misread the article's name that a light novel of 1986 is going to be adapted. How silly I am. Laughing

But still, judging by the comments, it could be worth checking out.

I've heard this is one of the better light novels to come out in recent years. Wasn't there an article here detailing various great LNs with this one being included?

One fun fact that I learned about 86 is that the light novel series illustrator Shirabii and mechanical designer I-IV so happen to be character illustrators for certain playable Servants in Fate/Grand Order.
