Just so you know, Saori Onishi (Shikimori's VA) struggled with COVID a while back, so the irony of this situation is not lost on me.
We're not in the post-COVID era, okay? We're still in the middle of it.

I'm not surprised but honestly it doesn't seem as bad as it could have been. I'm looking forward to watching the series one way or another.

I really hope the animators are getting enough time to work and rest and not being forced to cut corners or crunch just to make up for this in the schedule.

Man, that sucks. It looks like it's finally started to build up some steam with the recent memes after the initial lackluster reception (mostly due to overhyping), but now that momentum might be lost. I feel sorry for them.
