Honestly, I have only watched the anime but I gotta feel the love triangle was rebooted there in the second season. Yeah, Ono's silent characterization made it hard to know what was going on sometimes to the point it felt wrong that her rival had to spell it out what was going on in her head for the final episode.

| Quote: | | I think most readers would likely be too young to remember many of these titles, and Lord knows, even I'm out of the loop regarding consoles like the PC Engine. But I think the general vibes are relatable enough for readers to click with on some level (such as Haruo's insecurity making him feel like he has to constantly defend the PC Engine versus everyone else having a Nintendo). |
How interesting that they left the PC Engine (Localized as the TurboGrafx-16 in the states) name alone.
PC Engine was an odd console; While Nintendo and Sega fought over the SNES and Genesis in the USA (with TurboGrafx a distant 3rd), the opposite was true in Japan at the time - Nintendo and NEC fought over the SFC and the PC Engine.
Also the PC Engine had a very good port of Street Fighter II' (aka Championship Edition).
Anyways, thanks for the review.
