I never watched Ranma ½ in Japanese so this is my first time hearing Toshihiko Seki as Mousse, but I'm glad he was able to reprise his role. Now I'm anxious to know if in the Latin American Spanish dub the original voices for Mousse, Happosai, Cologne and Ukyo can reprise their roles from the original anime, they're all still active, I mean, the original VAs who voiced Akane, Ryoga, Kasumi, Soun and the Jusenkyo guide were the only ones that are still active that managed to reprise their roles in this new version.

In my opinion, Cardcaptor Sakura's Clear Card arc anime failed to make any impact. But the Rumic franchise of anime remakes still goes stong somehow. What do you think?

The good news is Mousse and Ukyo. The bad news is Happosai which will be real interesting considering they censored butt cracks in the first season of the remake. That character is just a land mine on top of another land mine.

Considering the toned down nudity in season 1, I’m curious how they’ll approach Happosai. Panty stealing will likely be okay, but I am guessing the amount of groping scenes will be reduced.

Can't wait to get more of the remake! Even continuing the trend of bringing back the original VA's and recasting with top-tier seiyuu!

Ironically, it's only remakes (same to Clear Card, which was continuation of CCS) - considering Yashahime honestly not even closely struck the same ground as original Inuyasha either.

Fandom-wise, at least. In terms of TV ratings, Yashahime was one of the most successful shows in its timeslot -- more than MHA, even.
Yes, I know that's a bold claim. I've looked at the ratings data with about five different metrics. It's pretty consistent. Also a surprisingly strong performer: Firefighter Daigo.

If memories serves me well, the anime of the 90s added more Happosai because apparently, he was quite popular among viewers (he and Sasuke, the ninja servant of Tatewaki). If they follow the manga more thoroughly, there should be less of him.

Yes, the 90s anime added in a lot more Happosai due to his popularity. The remake has a few sexual scenes toned down so far so it will be interesting to see what is still allowed. it should be fairly easy to tell if the remake censors him though as his introductory chapter involves a lot of breast groping of Akane and Female Ranma right off the bat.
