The visuals look fantastic! I also assume the voice acting is intentionally hokey.

If Microids' Grendizer game is any indication, this is probably being dubbed in Paris with English-speaking actors.

The gameplay looks kind of like a mix between Mega Man 11 and Metroid: Dread, which is actually quite of fitting since both Metroid and Mega Man were inspired in certain aspects by Space Cobra, particularly Rock and Samus' arm cannon being inspired by Cobra's Psychogun, though the Metroid series actually draws a lot more from Cobra.
