I was there, it was mostly great.
I think they need to do something about the informal "rest" areas, there were a lot of people that were extremely tired and sat near exits or low foot traffic areas, and everytime you saw some staff or officer remove them even if they were just taking a second or where clearly exhausted.
I luckily managed to build enough stamina for the event and enjoyed the panel times or long lines to rest and recover.
My other complaint would be about the Peacock Theater crowd control, you needed to exit the event, then take a whole turn around the theater, exit that area and the enter again to be checked, if you went to a lot of big panels, you will easy lose 15-20 minutes to get back depending on how big the crowd was (most of the time the theater was near full).
Also I felt really bad because I saw a couple of thefts (AVIOT headphones) a buddy of mine reported the issue but nothing really got resolved.

The attendance record is kind of surprising, since the con felt a lot less overcrowded than the last time I was there in 2019. I guess moving main events to the Peacock Theater and all the extra space really helped spread the people out. The line management for Peacock Theater entry definitely could use some work, though.

I’ve been going since 2011 and have experienced all kinds of craziness, luckily they got rid of thr bag check which is what caused the bottle neck at entry in previous years and I haven’t really had much to complain about. It did feel less crowded this year, but I also noticed they expanded the artist alley to take over the entirety of the Kentia Hall, and the entertainment hall had a lot more actual vendors(it felt like a smaller exhibit hall). I’m glad that it’s still drawing big crowds.

Ever since they put Gilbert Lindsey plaza behind security and increased their security line throughput so people don't feel obligated to stay all day crowding has been relatively alleviated. These changes have happened over the last couple years.

This isn't the actual attendance record, just the turnstile attendance record.
It's just a good way to make your numbers looked boosted.
Basically, this is the number showing how often attendees came into the convention space.
