Man, my heart bleeds for this webcomic. The author is clearly laying out her themes and nuanced character growth/development--to the point of practically proselytizing them to the audience via certain characters--but certain parts of the fandom cannot seem to see past the initial "bullied kid bullies back" hook and refuses to view the story through anything other than a simplistic, black-and-white approach.
