More Bandori is always good news, but I gotta ask: No drummer?

Looks a lot less overdramatic compared to MyGO and Ave Mujica, so there is a chance this one might actually be enjoyable. The only thing that worries me is that it's somewhat VTuber-esque, which is something I don't really care about. Well, we'll see how it'll turn out. As always, time will tell.

Looks like it's a D4DJ competitor.

It is literally just a Bushiroad-sponsored stable of V-tubers. Which is fine, but it is weird to me that they put them under the Bang Dream umbrella.

Also, oh my god, Bushiroad is desperate to do anything but give Morfonica their full-cour TV anime. They're seriously passing them over in favor of their non-canon V-tuber squad.

Thing is they are canon or will be more that and Morfonica are not strong enough to an anime on there own.

Yeah, it does seem like an odd choice. But let's not judge yet, could be really entertaining.

People unfortunately still hate Amanesu because of her weak singing voice when she debuted with Morf. There’s also some lingering resentment of Morf being added to Garupa before Raise a Suillen were.
And yes, neither of these are good reasons not to have a Morf anime.
Mugendai Mewtype are apparently successful enough to get 4 Lives so far even if they aren’t linked so far with the greater Bandori franchise lore wise, and therefore I know next to nothing about them. I guess this anime may seek to establish those connections…

It makes more sense if you look at how Love Live is doing in Japan. While the English fandom seems to have largely moved on or claims that they've been abandoned by the franchise for various reasons (larger numbers of genwunners determined to only like μ's, Aqours's recent graduation, the memetic failure of SIF 2, slow official translations of LLLL, no official translations of the stage musical or the ARG), Link! Like! Love Live!, a side project with both a mobile gacha game and in-character streams (so, vtubers playing scripted characters much like Yumemita), is making bank in Japan.
Both Love Live and Bandori are deep into reinventing themselves for modern audiences, so it makes sense that they'd be feeding off each other: Love Live going for a sadder origin and focus on characters making the best of tough circumstances in Bluebird (the ARG on Twitter and YouTube) has been compared to AveMyGO, and Yumemita being vtubers in the old style (scripted characters rather than the modern "really just the streamer improvising and occasionally making reference to light lore") and disconnected from the main groups is drawing from Hasunosora's adventures in Link! Like! Love Live!
