It’s been a long wait but season 2 is looking good. So far it seems like they are gonna end the season with Drum Island so season 3 will probably be mostly Alabasta.

That was already confirmed by Oda himself.

TIme to re-sub to Netflix. With this and JoJo Part 7 March is looking great for them.

There's always a contrarian who pretends to have a superior taste.

Anyways, the sets look impressive and their insistence on doing practical effects and stuntwork is admirable. The visual effects and cinematography improved a lot compared to S1.Glad to see that they're embracing the wackiness even more by including characters like the Unluckies.

+2
Looks like Netflix standards to be fair.

One piece was never peak fiction as their fans claim it to be so both netflix and their fandom deserve each other.

Even if you dislike it it still deserves a decent live-action adaption. Even if only because the next adaption could be a series you enjoy.

Anyway, while the first season took plenty of liberties with casting and story it feels like the second season is doing so even more.

I liked some of the changes they made in season 1. I thought having Garp be the one to preside over Roger's execution was a nice touch. Also liked that Garp and Koby had an expanded role in the East Blue. My one major gripe with Season 1 was Arlong. I think they should have went with a taller actor with a slightly more jacked build. Also, they could have done a better job with the nose. Something about it felt off.
