There's the usual complaints from entitled manga readers demanding the manga adaptation be used for the anime adaptation source with no regard to copyright concerns.
Based on the teaser, he has to take on his spellsword alumni. That's going to be fun to watch.

The anime is already ahead of it. So those complaints would amount to nothing already. They also have a choice to watch it again or stick to the manga and compare it again
