That sucks. I know he shared a prostate cancer diagnosis four years ago. Probably going through a lot.

This is why I’m glad I’m not able to drink anymore. I hope he’ll be okay and learn to drink in moderation.

Considering the injuries to the head, sounds like he face planted himself from a standing position.
Saw a Delta passenger do that in the Gate area. Being under the influence, he didn't even put his hands or arms in front of his face to protect his head from the fall. You could see the blood flow out from under his head. Might have broken his nose at the least. |

Unfortunately there is a good chance with his age, he may not had many drinks to get to a drunken state or to be unsteady on his feet. I am glad he is okay. I hope he has family members that can provide him care for these coming weeks that it will take for his brain to recover. I took care of my parents for 10 years at the end of their lives, plus many of their friends lives and learned all about brain injuries in seniors. Many times falls are really the first sign toward the end.
