As expected, Madoka and Kuroneko ran away with their respective groups. The bigger surprise is Victorique losing to Sayaka Miki by one vote. Astalotte besting Mio is also a bit of a surprise to me, but y'all know how this things work. The newer moeblob always trumps the older moeblob.

Shame Ai Haibara got 7th, but she was up against Kuroneko so I guess it was expected. They're both moe, but I woulda voted for her if you go by the 'want to protect' definition of moe some people use, since Haibara is so much more vulnerable and depressed
 Poor girl needs a hug.

I like how Charlotte managed to place 5th xD
Well it's true, she's certainly cute... 
I'm also surprised to see Chizuru from Hakuouki placing 11th, especially seeing how it's a shoujo series, compared to 99% of the list, which is more aimed at guys.
Not necessarily always. Shana still tops her category despite being being 5+ years old. |

It could also mean that Madoka characters have a big target this year....recall K-ON! from 2 years ago.
Ranking first in prelims 5 out of 5 times too. |

It will be close. I think it will either be Madoka or Homura-chan. Even though Madoka is the protagonist, Homura stole that show with THAT epic episode. Outside of the Madoka franchise, I see Kuroneko as the dark-horse candidate (no pun intended) |
