Nope. Once they finish rerunning the new episodes, "Inuyasha" will be taken off, as will "Blue Gender". They'll be replaced by the return of "FLCL" and "Kikaider".

[got from Toonzone]

Cool

Oh boy. FLCL no problem but Kikaider? saw it the first two runs and though it was OK I dont want to see two more runs of it.

And I love Trigun and Bebop but something new to run in their slot as well wouldnt be bad.

The folks at Williams Street did announce at the Atlanta Con that they were in the midst of several deals for new action shows.

I wish they would show Escaflowne or Fushigi Yugi. I've been wanting to see them, but can't afford to buy them at the moment...especially not Fushigi Yugi since it's only available by the set. I didn't care much for Kikaider, but FLCL rocks my world!

International Channel shows Fushigi Yugi at 11pm EST on Tuesdays.

Fushigi Yugi? No offense, but I don't think AS Action will start showing shows aimed at 15yr old girls any time soon. Maybe something like Dai Guard or Sabre Marionette that has action, but wouldn't require too much (if any?) censoring.

Advance skeds coming out of AS indicate they will restart Inuyasha from Ep. 1 on Nov. 10, after the rerun of FLCL concludes. Indications are that they will be running it 4X/week straight through to Ep. 52 on Feb. 5, 2004. Advance sked info is from very reliable unofficial sources.

Speculation is that they will add on some new episodes from the Ep. 53-104 block they bought this summer, starting Feb. 9, 2004. But that's only if they have taken delivery from Viz of the dubs of all 52 episodes in this block. They don't want to be caught again like they were last winter, facing fan demand for more Inu with no idea of when they could deliver more episodes.

According to reliable unofficial sources, Viz has delivered about 20 of these episodes with more in progress. At Viz' current 5/month dubbing rate, completing all 52 dubs by next Feb. is problematic. We'll see. (^_*)

They finished showing the 16 new episodes a several weeks ago, meaning they've shown 52 episodes in all. Now they're going to wait for Viz to completely dub the next 52 episodes so they'll for certain have enough episodes to air. Sixteen episodes at a time isn't enough; they just want to make sure they have enough episodes at a time, which is why they set the date for new episodes sometime in 2004.

Who knows. They might have 52 in Feb, they might not. They might give us 16 now and then, they might not. The only true way to know is to watch AS schedule. But it sounds like 52 at once sounds better.

52 episodes in one go. I'm willing to wait for that. That little 16-episode spurt just let me down right as I got back into the swing of things. Sad

I'm pretty sure they're going to go for the "52 episodes in one go" bit. It seems to be what they were indicating at AWA.

Call me old fashioned, but I prefer the original Kikaida than this animated version.
